Unfortunately, our technical staff was unable to add the codes in the database. Back in 2022 when this thread started you could not remove Devises from an Activity but now you can and even back then you could remove steps. To remove a Devise from an Activity select Activities, Edit, then the Activity, now press its name, a list of the Devises in it will appear and can be removed.
I was also frustrated by this... rather than delete the activity and re-create it, I decided to make a new one first, then carefully edit it to match the first one without the step I didn't want. A VERY interesting thing happened when I did this - the added steps in the original activity (in start) all disappeared! I have no explanation for why this happened, but it did. Maybe because the 2 activities were for the same devices? In any case, if you have an activity with start or end steps you don't want, try creating a new activity for the same device and see what happens. After I did that I simpy deleted the new activity and was able to re-edit the startup steps... Will
