Back in 2022 when this thread started you could not remove Devises from an Activity but now you can and even back then you could remove steps. To remove a Devise from an Activity select Activities, Edit, then the Activity, now press its name, a list of the Devises in it will appear and can be removed.
I was also frustrated by this... rather than delete the activity and re-create it, I decided to make a new one first, then carefully edit it to match the first one without the step I didn't want. Sorry for the delay--one of those weeks. Replacing the battery was my first step. The remote runs, just not the display. I've got nothing to take a video with, and I'm not sure what you want me to record... Dear Customer, thank you for contacting us. If you're stuck at this step, please verify that the WiFi password you entered is correct. Additionally, ensure your phone and hub are connected to the same 2.4G network. if you want to switch to a different WiFi network, press and hold the hub button for 3 seconds. Wait until the hub's indicator light turns blue, then reconnect to the new WiFi. To reset the hub, press and hold the hub button for 30 seconds until the indicator light flashes red. Please note that all settings will be erased after resetting the hub.
