Why is this not possible ?? This is an essential function that is missing and needs to be implemented. It should be possible to program the X1S to function exactly as the original remote command wise.
I only use zidoo as a media player where i need to scroll through huge lists. Logitech Harmony or the original remote has no problems doing this. With X1S or the App i have to press navigation up or down repeatedly to get through the list. I would have to press the navigate button 50 times to get through the list, so this renders the X1S useless.
Sorry about this, the X1S remote doesn't have long buttons in device mode. Only in Activity you can create long buttons. In Activity you can set long press and short press to control different buttons. But it is not possible to set a long press to continuously control a command in device mode.
The Long Press Option is only in Activities so this is not going to be relevant to your issue as you have the problem in Devises Mode. Does navigation scrolling work with other equipment you have connected? Do you have to repeatedly press Volume to get it to go up/down or does this work as it should? Also just to confirm you are using the X1s Remote and not the app?
I do not have an hardware issue. I will repeat my issue, when i continuous press the navigate button on the original remote it scrolls through the menu quickly and without stopping. The X1S does not do this. Short or Long presses on the X1S just go down or up one step and does nothing more. I need to find a solution for this otherwise the X1S is useless.
It is the same in Devices and Activities Mode. I cannot find a way to set an long press option for the navigate buttons. Also did try to learn from the original remote but still the same. Looks to be a software limitation.
