Dear @SofaBaton, can you please give a reaction? I have the same problem: Prog Down key is missing.. very irritating. Thanks in advance!
If you want the Activity to always start on the same channel you can add the Macro (explained below) to the Startup Settings of the Activity. Assuming the box normally starts where you just key in a channel number.
Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting us! Set a specific channel as a macro key, which is triggered by one key. The Favorites key is only displayed on the screen, and you need to click it with the scroll wheel. If it is assigned as an entity key, it can be controlled by entity keys 1. Create a device as an activity, which can be a single device or together with other devices 2. In Activity mode, edit the selected activity item, and click Edit ---- Assign keys for X1 Remote or Keys favorites (one is assigned to entity keys, and the other is only displayed on the screen) 3. According to the prompt, select Add Macro keys. If it is channel 2260, you can set a macro named 2260,, including four commands: 1,5,4,2
Dear customer, Sorry for that and: 1. Note Xfinity supports both IR+RF control at the same time and its IR receiving range is very limited, if you are unable to learn from its original remote by IR---U or X or RF mode--X1S and the root cause is not from our side: 2. The below is from website FYI: (Xfinity has a very small IR receiver, just to the right of the status light.) https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/using-your-remote-control-with-an-ir-extender 3. For Xfinity---- Normally we have to paste the head of one of our IR blasters (it is in the original package) onto the IR receiving area of this device ,see the below photos: You might be able to re-add it by Brand: Comcast, Model: the related Modle or user-shared ones in our IR codebase----As Comcast is the mother company of Xfinity. 4. After that, delete the old one from our app and re-add it and make some tests: For U2 remote, kindly go to our app--select this device--remote keys--click any virtual buttons--re-assign remote keys--press"trigger" one by one on the next page to identify which one the right key is as as for some codes of devices, we might have the same keys in our codebase but with a different name. Like Power, Power toggle, power on, power off etc. and take a look on this device. For X remote, please go to our app- select this device-click three dots on the bottom right corner --press these virtual keys one by one to identify which one the right key is. And another solution FYI: in our app--devices page--select Xfinity--Edit--Add/repair commands and select the related button--repair and do the first two Items on the next page. 5. If fails, kindly let us know the exact model of Xfinity and best to take a photo of its nameplate for our reference. 6. Lastly---- There is one more solution FYI: in our app---Devices page--Add--Infrared--Learn from the original IR remote--Set Top Box--Only a power key--on the next page named" learning", please press and hold the button you want to learn on the remote of Xfinity and donot let it go and click "To learn" for Power button etc in our app--and then do the rest and after the learning is successful, let go of this button on the original remote finally. The tricky thing is---you might have to press and hold the button you want to learn on the original remote first and then click the corresponding "To learn" in our app second and perform an IR learning eventually. 6. If you are holding a X1S, there is one function of RF learning in our app but this doesnot work as RF mode is avaiable only for communciation between its own remote with its own box. i’m getting the same problem just trying to POST url to toggle my Shelly 2.5 relay that controls my lights. http://192.168.1.59/relay/0?turn=on does nothing, and changes POST with things like: 8POST, =POST etc. very frustrating. iOS shortcuts works fine, even sending the url in a web browser works. Also completely agree, needs some feedback on screen. Controlling my AC is now all guesswork. I want to know what mode Im setting, what temperature I’m setting, what fan speed i’m setting etc. This remote is just too simple, just sends commands, and get nothing back.. A scheduling feature wouldn’t hurt either!
Dear customer, Unfortunately, our technical staff was unable to find the codes in the database. There are 3 ways for you reference if they can make your devices function properly. 1.Bluetooth Mode(such as Other, Android TV and so on) 2.IR Learning Mode 3.Trimming method The specific operation process can also refer to the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCQ8Tr0Ar6U&t=19 If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us.
